10 Rules For Being “Friends With Benefits” November 6, 2009

Here are some tips for keeping the “Friends With Benefits” alive and well, for as long as possible.

10. Pee with the door closed. Even if you are using each other for cheap thrills, doesn’t mean you should act indecent. These rules probably sound harsh, but if it’s too much, then having a friend with benefits is probably not for you. Many people can get it on and not feel any attachment. Most can’t though, and it’s a rough game that not everyone can play. Just figure out what you are willing to do and go from there.

9. Always play it safe!

One of the sad realities of life is that women will sometimes do dirty things to hook a guy, and one of those things is getting pregnant. So always, always, ALWAYS use condoms and birth control when playing with your friend with benefits!

And more importantly, be sure to properly dispose of the condoms after you’re done! Flush ‘em down that toilet to make sure there’s no possibility of “leakage.”

8. Hide all evidence of your arrangement.

Throw out all condom wrappers (although you should no matter what), change your sheets, and don’t get any hickeys, bruises, bites, or scratches if you expect to date anyone else any time soon.

7. No dinners, no movies, no “quality time” of any sort.

If she insists on going out at all, meet her at a bar for drinks no earlier than ten o’clock at night. The hour between nine and ten is the gray zone between when a real date starts and when it’s just a hook-up. Going out late means you don’t have to go through the effort of buying her dinner and talking, you just want to get to the good stuff.

6. Pet names aren’t allowed.

No sweetie, honey, schmoopie allowed. Once you start with the nick names, a sense of ownership is implied. Don’t even call her “babe.” Keep it to her name only, because once you start with the terms of endearment, she’s going to get the wrong idea.

5. Don’t discuss anything real.

Remember, we’re trying to avoid intimacy here, and nothing creates intimacy like talking about important things. No family history, no favorite colors, no goals, no personal triumphs or tragedies. If you want to keep it a friends with benefits situation, you have to stay light: movies, bands, and favorite brands of booze.

4. No leave-behinds!

Do not allow the girl to leave any of her stuff at your place! No toothbrushes, no clothes – nothing! There should be no ties at all. Believe me, women WILL try and do this if they’re over enough times, just for “convenience.” But it’s really a doorway into moving more and more things in, until she’s effectively attached herself to you.

3. Do not enter into a “Friends With Benefits” arrangement while drunk.

There’s a difference between a one-night stand and a friend with benefits. But entering either drunk is not wise. God forbid there’s a beer-goggles situation. You don’t want to go to bed with a supermodel and wake up with a dog, do you? Besides, don’t you want to be sober enough to remember all the marvelous fun you had the night before?

2. Keep cuddling to a minimum!

Doing a lot of intimate stuff is going to create an emotional desire for more. Avoid this! You want to keep things physical rather than emotional. Fifteen minutes of cuddling is the max I would recommend. But displays of affection is generally discouraged.

1. No spending the night.

Letting her spend the night, or spending the night at her place sends the wrong message! It communicates a desire to settle down. If you can, keep the encounters at her place, and then leave. It’s much nicer than kicking her out of your place.

Windows 7: What You Should Know About XP Mode November 4, 2009

now this is something…

xp_mode_screenshot_270x168

New Windows 7 users who have held on to XP are particularly vulnerable to compatibility issues. XP Mode virtualization can ease the pain of transition.

As far as technical requirements, XP Mode needs a beefier system than that required to just run Windows 7 or XP alone, including at least 2GB of memory and a system that has chip-level virtualization from either Intel or AMD. One of the challenges is that today it is often not that easy to tell whether one’s PC has such support.

Microsoft is aiming XP Mode primarily at small businesses, Woodgate said.”That’s a class of customers that may have Windows XP apps that they may want to run on Windows 7,” he said.

Larger businesses may also have need to run older applications, but typically want control over things like who can install programs on their machines and other management issues. For them, he said, Microsoft has a product called MED-V that allows such control. An updated version of MED-V, due to be in beta within 90 days of the launch of Windows 7, will add support for Windows 7’s XP Mode, he said.

One of the benefits of XP Mode over Microsoft’s existing virtualization products is the fact that, after a setup process, the Windows XP virtual machine runs in the background so users don’t have to manage multiple desktops. XP Mode automatically installs shortcuts for XP programs in the Windows 7 start menu. The experience from that point on is similar to the one offered by VMware’s Fusion and Parallels in their virtualization products.

Woodgate noted that XP Mode isn’t a security solution. Indeed, to protect their systems, users will need antivirus software running both on their Windows 7 desktop as well as a copy running inside their Windows XP virtual machine.

i hope our neighbor this time will learn for their mistakes… i mean extra effort on preventative measure, caution and carefulness.  common sense in practical matters will really do.

do u believe that the house was also the same house who causes the fire last 2007?

terrible and stupid right?

having a great time watching this commercial, well im kinda impressed coz its  cute, but is it helping to sell Windows 7?  maybe but the idea there is that Windows 7 is so easy to use that little kids can use it;  or maybe whether young or old.
Microsoft will no doubt come up with more Windows 7 commercials that target other user demographics besides little kids and their parents; with great passion everything is possible.

- happy words means happy picture.  more happy is coming… *definitely!!!

wedlock October 18, 2009

Marriage is a social union or legal contract between individuals that creates kinship. It is an institution in which interpersonal relationships, usually intimate and sexual, are acknowledged by a variety of ways, depending on the culture or demographic. Such a union may also be called matrimony, while the ceremony that marks its beginning is usually called a wedding and the marital structure created is known as wedlock.

according to online resources that the best wedding videos as of today was the dance wedding of Jill and Kevin, the viral video JK Wedding Entrance Dance is the most watched wedding dance video of all time. The impeccably well choreographed video features the bride and groom, Jill and Kevin, and their entire wedding party doing a highly stylized hip-hop dance down the aisle to the sounds of R&B singer Chris Brown’s 2008 single “Forever.” – on my own opinion it is one of the best dance wedding too!

though its not the best wedding of all times, but its simplicity and romantic  makes it more very sincere

just witnessed aclan-nunez wedding celebration last oct. 3 , im quite jealous though not bec. i wanted to get married too but bec. i know they are so right , so good to each other…

i was never been a coffee addict,

and when the time i wanted to be alone, there’s only one place that i think of… coffe dream…

i remembered that i waited for someone in there for hours still didnt show up but then again i never felt lonely.

i love the moment of sipping my coffee: either Café Latte, Iced Latte or Cold Chocolate, you know the feeling of being at peace…

anyway, never thought that loving his crib will turn that i could love him too well maybe just maybe… lol

just proud that the owner of that crib is a full blooded cebuano (im not sure though)… i dont know if he notice me when the first time i saw him (then time was 440th years of mandaue at ayala terraces) and he’s quite handsome… hehe

actually im talking to..resizepic.php

“I have always been fond of the slight burnt smell of brewed coffee beans and the taste of an excellently-made cup of coffee. Then, the very idea of coffee shops in Cebu were not quite known at all. Still, I carried with me the vision of an enterprise that would cater to the taste buds of the local coffee-drinking and loving market. The vision soon gave birth to what is now.. COFFEE DREAM.” – Glenn Anthony O. Soco
